How Pre-Orders work?

Pre-Orders at BetaCore

Pre-orders allow you to reserve incoming batches of refurbished laptops or pre-owned iPhones before the stock physically arrives at our Rustenburg warehouse.

Why pre-order?

Secure allocation of popular / limited models that usually sell out fast
Lock in an exclusive pre-order discount (typically 5–15% off the regular price)
Pay less overall than if you wait for the item to go live as in-stock
Get priority dispatch as soon as the batch arrives

How pre-orders work step by step 

1.See the Pre-order

• All current pre-order items (model, expected arrival, price, deposit amount, discounted final price) are posted in our WhatsApp group or channel.

2.Reserve your unit

• To secure it, pay the non-refundable deposit via our website betacore.co.za using PayFast.
  Deposit amount is shown clearly per item in WhatsApp.
   

3.Stock arrives

• Expected arrival: usually 1–2 weeks from pre-order (mostly around 2 weeks, maximum 3 weeks in case of supplier delays).
  We send you an update via WhatsApp and/or email as soon as the batch lands.

4.Pay the remaining balance

• We send you a discount code (valid for 7 days).
  Use the code on betacore.co.za to pay the balance via PayFast and receive the pre-order discounted price.
  If you pay within 7 days → discounted price applies.
  If you miss the 7-day window → discount code expires and you pay the full (non-discounted) price.

5.Shipping

• Once balance is paid, the item is prepared and shipped using your chosen option:
  Free standard delivery (4–7 business days)
  Or R99 for faster delivery (1–3 business days)
  Tracking number sent via WhatsApp/email.

Important rules

• Deposits are non-refundable (covers our supplier commitment and holding costs).
• Pre-orders are binding — no cancellations or refunds after deposit is paid.
• If we cannot deliver the item (supplier completely fails), we refund all payments made (no interest).
• All pre-order devices follow the same grading (Excellent / Very Good / Good), warranty (1-month standard + optional 3-month for R700), and quality standards as in-stock items.
