Important Notice: BetaCore operates exclusively as a B2B supplier to resellers and businesses. All sales are business-to-business transactions. Prices shown are wholesale/reseller prices only. We do not sell to individual end-users or consumers. All terms are governed by commercial B2B principles — no consumer protections apply.

General Questions

1. What does "refurbished" mean at BetaCore?  
Refurbished laptops are pre-owned devices professionally inspected, tested, cleaned, repaired (if needed), and restored to full working condition. Faulty parts are replaced, software updated — reliable for resale.

2. What does "pre-owned" mean for iPhones?  
Pre-owned iPhones are gently used devices from trusted sources: fully tested, data-wiped, battery health 85%+ (most 90%+), graded, repaired as needed — ready for resale.

3. What condition grades do you use?

  •  Excellent: Near like-new — minimal/no visible marks, pristine, fully functional.
  • Very Good: Light use signs (faint scratches/wear), clean, no major issues, fully working.
  • Good: Noticeable use (scratches/scuffs/dents), but fully functional/performs well.  
    Photos, detailed specs, and battery % shown per listing.

4. What warranty do you provide?  

  • Standard 1-month warranty on main electronics only (excludes consumables/accessories: keyboards, screens, batteries, mic).
  • Optional 3-month warranty extension available for an additional R700 per item (added at purchase).
  • Warranty covers refurb/manufacturing defects only — not customer/reseller-caused damage, misuse, liquid spills, drops, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear.
  • For valid claims: Repair or replacement only (at our discretion; no refunds or credits). Test devices immediately on delivery and report issues ASAP with photos/proof.
  • Customer/reseller damage (e.g., water poured on keyboard, drops, misuse) voids warranty — no coverage, no returns.

5. Battery health & software?  
iPhones: 85%+ battery health (stated per item). Laptops: Tested/replaced if poor. All devices factory reset + updated to latest compatible OS.

6. Shipping?  
Free nationwide delivery via reliable couriers.

  • In-stock items: 1–3 business days.
  • Pre-order items: 1–3 weeks typical (estimated on listing; updates via email/WhatsApp). Track provided.

7. Return/Exchange Policy
Read descriptions, photos, grades carefully — items accurately described.  

  • No exchanges or returns for any reason, including change of mind, buyer's remorse, or non-defective items.
  • No returns for faulty items outside the 1-month (or extended) warranty period.
  • Within warranty: Repair/replacement only (no refunds/credits).
  • If item damaged by reseller/customer (e.g., liquid spill, drops, misuse): Return refused — no credit/refund.
  • After warranty or cooling-off exceptions: No returns accepted.

8. Data security?  
All devices professionally wiped (data removal tools), malware-tested, fully reset — secure for resale.

9. What are pre-orders?  
Pre-orders allow resellers to reserve incoming/limited stock (specific models/high-demand items) before arrival. Secures your allocation + often includes discounts.

10. Why pre-order?  

  • Guarantee availability on fast-selling/refurb batches.
  • Exclusive pre-order discounts (5–15% typical, shown on listing).
  • Priority when stock arrives (1–3 weeks).
  • Pay a deposit to reserve; balance on arrival before shipping.

11. How do discounts & payments work

  • Discounts apply only to pre-orders.
  • Pay deposit when reserving (non-refundable to cover supplier commitment and holding costs).
  • On arrival: Notification via email/message with confirmation.
  • We send a discount code (valid 7 days) — apply to remaining balance when paying.
  • Pay balance within 7 days using code → receive discounted price.
  • After 7 days: Code expires → pay full (non-discounted) amount.
  • Deposit is separate and non-refundable.

12. Can I cancel a pre-order?  
Pre-orders are binding. No cancellations or refunds (deposit non-refundable). If we cannot deliver (supplier issue), full refund of any payments made.
