BetaCore – B2B Reseller Platform for Refurbished Laptops & Pre-Owned iPhones

These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern all sales, pre-orders, and interactions between us BetaCore and you reseller. BetaCore operates exclusively as a business-to-business (B2B) wholesale supplier to resellers and businesses. We do not sell to individual consumers or end-users. All transactions are commercial in nature, and no consumer protections (including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008) apply.
By placing any order, pre-order, making a deposit/payment, or otherwise transacting with us, you confirm you are a business/reseller acting in the course of your trade/business and agree to these T&Cs in full. Your purchase constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These T&Cs form the entire agreement (superseding any prior discussions) and are binding upon acceptance.
### 1. Scope and Application
1.1 These T&Cs apply to all sales of refurbished laptops, pre-owned iPhones, and related products ("Goods") via our website, WhatsApp group/channel, email, or other channels.
1.2 We reserve the right to refuse any order/pre-order at our sole discretion (e.g., credit risk, stock availability).
1.3 No variations to these T&Cs are binding unless in writing and signed by us.
### 2. Orders and Pre-Orders
2.1 Regular orders are placed directly on our website at betacore.co.za. Orders/pre-orders are offers to purchase; we accept only upon confirmation (e.g., email/WhatsApp order acknowledgment). Placement of an order or pre-order constitutes your acceptance of these T&Cs.
2.2 Pre-orders:
- Allow reservation of incoming/limited stock.
- Details (including price, deposit amount, discounted final amount, specs, and availability) are posted in our WhatsApp group or channel.
- Deposits (and full payments/balances) are made on our website betacore.co.za via PayFast.
- Require a non-refundable deposit (amount stated per item in WhatsApp group/channel or listing) to secure allocation and cover supplier/commitment costs.
- On arrival: We notify via email/WhatsApp; send a discount code (valid 7 days) for the remaining balance.
- Balance must be paid within 7 days using the code (via PayFast on the website) to receive the pre-order discount. After 7 days, full non-discounted price applies.
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. - Pre-orders are binding; no cancellations or refunds. If we cannot deliver (supplier failure), we refund payments made (no interest).
2.3 Prices are wholesale/reseller prices in ZAR, excluding VAT unless stated. We may adjust prices before acceptance.

### 3. Payment
3.1 Payment via secure methods (e.g., PayFast/EFT as integrated on Portmoni). Full payment (or balance) required before shipping/delivery unless agreed otherwise.
3.2 Title/risk passes on full payment and delivery.
3.3 Late payments attract interest at prime + 5% p.a. and may suspend future dealings.
### 4. Delivery and Shipping
4.1 Delivery Options and Costs
We offer two delivery options at checkout (applies to both in-stock and pre-order orders once ready for dispatch):
- Free Nationwide Delivery (default/standard option):
•Cost: R0 (fully covered by BetaCore).
•Estimated time: 4–7 business days from the date the order is prepared and dispatched (after payment clearance and stock readiness).
•This is our standard, no-extra-cost service for all resellers, including pre-orders. - Standard (Faster) Delivery (optional upgrade):
•Cost: R99 per order (added at checkout).
•Estimated time: 1–3 business days from dispatch.
•Choose this for quicker replenishment of your stock.
•No minimum order value required for either option.
•Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
•Delivery times are estimates only and subject to courier availability, weather, road conditions, or other factors beyond our control.
4.2 In-Stock vs Pre-Order Shipping
- In-Stock Items:
• Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days after payment clearance.
• Free delivery: 4–7 business days total from dispatch.
• Faster option (R99): 1–3 business days total from dispatch. - Pre-Order Items:
• Pre-orders are for incoming/limited stock not yet in our warehouse.
• Stock arrival typically takes 1–2 weeks from pre-order placement (mostly 2 weeks), with possible delays up to 3 weeks depending on supplier lead times.
• Shipping only begins once the stock arrives at our Rustenburg facility, your order is prepared, and full payment/balance is cleared.
• Pre-orders qualify for free delivery (default 4–7 business days from dispatch). The optional R99 faster delivery is also available if you prefer quicker dispatch after arrival.
• Total estimated time from pre-order placement: 1–3 weeks for stock arrival + the chosen delivery timeframe (4–7 days free or 1–3 days for R99).
• We provide regular updates via email and/or WhatsApp on stock arrival status, dispatch date, and tracking.
• If delays exceed 3 weeks, we notify you promptly; you may cancel the pre-order for a full refund of payments made (no interest), per our Terms and Conditions.
4.3 You must inspect Goods immediately on receipt and report issues within 24 hours (with photos/proof). No claims after.
### 5. Warranty and Condition of Goods
5.1 Goods are refurbished/pre-owned/second-hand — sold "as is" with visible use signs per grade (Excellent / Very Good / Good — detailed per listing with photos/specs/battery %).
5.2 Standard warranty: 1 month on main electronics (excludes consumables: keyboards, screens, batteries, mice).
5.3 Optional 3-month extension: R700 per item (added at purchase).
5.4 Warranty covers only refurb/manufacturing defects — not damage from misuse, liquid spills, drops, unauthorized repairs, normal wear, or testing mishandling.
5.5 Valid claims: Repair or replacement only (at our discretion; no refunds, credits, or compensation).
5.6 Customer/reseller damage (e.g., water poured on keyboard, physical abuse) voids warranty — no coverage.
### 6. Returns, Refunds, and Liability
6.1 No returns, exchanges, refunds, or credits for any reason, including change of mind, buyer's remorse, non-defective Goods, or post-warranty issues.
6.2 Within warranty: Repair/replacement only (no refunds).
6.3 Damaged Goods due to your handling: No acceptance/credit.
6.4 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the purchase price of the Goods. No liability for indirect/consequential loss, lost profits, or business interruption.
6.5 You indemnify us against claims arising from your resale/use of Goods.
### 7. Intellectual Property and Data
7.1 All content on our site/WhatsApp is our property — no unauthorized use.
7.2 We process your business data (e.g., contact, payment) per our Privacy Policy.
### 8. Force Majeure
We not liable for delays/failures due to events beyond control (e.g., supplier issues, strikes, acts of God).
### 9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1 Governed by laws of the Republic of South Africa.
9.2 Disputes submitted to exclusive jurisdiction of Gauteng High Court, Pretoria.
### 10. General
10.1 If any provision invalid, others remain enforceable.
10.2 No waiver unless in writing.
10.3 We may update these T&Cs — continued use constitutes acceptance.
