BetaCore – B2B Reseller Platform for Refurbished Laptops & Pre-Owned iPhones

BetaCore operates exclusively as a business-to-business (B2B) wholesale supplier to resellers and businesses. All sales are commercial transactions between businesses, and no consumer protections (including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008) apply. Returns, exchanges, refunds, and credits are extremely limited as outlined below.

 

1. General Return Policy

No returns, exchanges, refunds, or credits are accepted for any reason except in the very limited circumstances described in this policy.
This includes (but is not limited to):
– Change of mind
– Buyer's remorse
– Incorrect purchase decision
– Non-defective Goods
– Items not needed or wanted after receipt
– Post-warranty issues
Goods are sold "as is" based on the condition grades (Excellent / Very Good / Good), detailed descriptions, photos, specs, and battery health information provided on the website and/or WhatsApp group/channel.
By placing an order or pre-order, you confirm that you have carefully reviewed all provided information and accept the Goods in the described condition.


2. Warranty-Related Returns (Defects)

Standard warranty: 1 month on main electronics only (excludes consumables: keyboards, screens, batteries, mice).
Optional 3-month extension: Available for R700 per item (added at purchase).
Warranty covers only refurbishment/manufacturing defects that existed at the time of delivery.
It does not cover:
– Damage caused by the reseller or end-customer (liquid spills, drops, physical abuse, misuse, unauthorized repairs, improper handling, normal wear and tear)
– Issues arising from testing, installation, or use after delivery
– Consumable parts (keyboards, screens, batteries, mice)
For valid warranty claims (reported within the warranty period with clear photos/proof and within 24 hours of discovery):
– We will attend to repair or replacement only (at our sole discretion).
– No refunds, credits, or cash compensation will be provided under any circumstances.
All warranty claims must be submitted via email ([email protected]) or WhatsApp (0790260138) with detailed description, photos, and proof of purchase.


3. Inspection Requirement

You (or your designated recipient) must inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt.
Any visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of delivery via email or WhatsApp, including clear photos of:
– The unopened packaging
– The courier label
– The affected item(s)
Failure to report within 24 hours waives any right to claim for transit damage, shortages, or obvious defects.


4. Pre-Order Cancellations

Pre-orders are binding once deposit is paid.
No cancellations or refunds after deposit payment (deposit is non-refundable).
If we are unable to deliver due to supplier failure or other issues beyond our control, we will refund any payments made (no interest).
No other cancellation rights exist.

 

5. Damaged or Defective Goods Due to Handling

If Goods are damaged after delivery due to your handling, misuse, or the handling of your end-customers (e.g., water damage, drops, cracks, unauthorized opening), no returns, repairs under warranty, credits, or refunds will be accepted.
Such damage voids any warranty.

 

6. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Goods is limited to the purchase price paid for the specific item(s) in question.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.

 

7. General

This Return Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions (available at betacore.co.za/terms-and-conditions) and Shipping Policy.
By placing an order or pre-order, you agree to these return terms in full.
We reserve the right to update this policy at any time — continued purchases constitute acceptance of updates.
